Habanos – Regular Production cigars

Regular production Habanos are the standing Cuban catalogue — the cigars that are made continuously and are meant to be available year after year, as opposed to the Edición Limitada, Edición Regional and Reserva releases that appear once and are gone.

This is the backbone of Cuban cigar smoking, and it is where you should learn the marques. A Montecristo No. 2, a Partagás Serie D No. 4, a Cohiba Robusto: these are the reference points every other cigar gets described against. Because they are made every year, they are also the only Cubans you can reasonably expect to buy again once you find one you like — which makes them the right place to build a palate before chasing releases that will never be repeated.
