Limited Edition cigars

Edición Limitada (EL) is Habanos S.A.'s annual limited series: a handful of vitolas released once, in a fixed quantity, never repeated. The defining feature is the wrapper — EL releases use a darker, more mature wrapper leaf aged at least two years before rolling, which is why they smoke sweeter and heavier than the regular production cigar wearing the same band.

The vitolas are chosen deliberately from sizes not in the marque's standing range, so an EL is genuinely a different cigar rather than a dressed-up existing one. They carry a distinctive black-and-gold secondary band with the release year.

Buy them to smoke, not to speculate. Prices on the secondary market are volatile and the cigars reward a few years of rest far more reliably than they reward resale.
